184 CUSTECH students benefit from NELFUND disbursement

A total of 184 students at the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, have successfully received their tuition disbursements from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
This was revealed by the vice-chancellor, Engr. Prof. Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu, FNSE, during the inauguration ceremony of the university’s first-ever Student Representative Council (SRC), held on the school campus. He confirmed that all CUSTECH beneficiaries had received their complete payments “down to the last kobo.”
Prof. Salawu praised the federal government for initiating the scheme, noting that it was intended to alleviate the financial strain of tuition fees for students nationwide. He stressed that the intervention would greatly improve access to quality education for students who truly deserve it.
In a separate conversation, the university’s Bursar, Mr John Alaji, FCNA, affirmed that all students benefiting from NELFUND at CUSTECH had been duly credited.
One of the recipients, Suleiman Luqman Onoruoyiza, a 400-level computer science student, shared his joy after receiving the payment alert. “This support has eased my financial stress and allowed me to focus more on my studies. I am grateful to NELFUND and the federal government for this opportunity,” he said.
