2 Nigerian Students Wrongfully Deported from Croatia to Bosnia Arrive Nigeria
Two Nigerian students of Federal University of Technology Owerri, (FUTO) who were wrongfully deported from Croatia to Bosnia have arrived Nigeria. The students identified as 18 year-old Abia Uchenna Alexandro and Eboh Kenneth Chinedu, had attended the 5th world inter-universities championships where they represented Nigeria, and got arrested on the street of Zegreb, the capital of Croatia when they decided to take a short walk around the city while waiting for their flight back to Nigeria.
Their arrival was announced by the, ministry of foreign affairs on Saturday 21st December, 2019 on board Turkish Airlines at about 2.05am and were received by the Spokesperson of the Ministry, on behalf of the Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Geoffery Onyeama.
