Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has sacked all Education Secretaries of the 23 Local Government Areas of the state.
This was communicated via a statement signed by the Special Adviser on Media and Communication to the State Governor, Mr Muyiwa Adekeye on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the personnel adjustments were targeted at strengthening governance as well as deepening reforms in the state’s education sector.
Mr Adekeye revealed that “the most senior official in the education department of each local government area will act as Education Secretary until substantive appointments were announced.”
The Governor also relieved the General Manager of the Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) of his appointment, and approved Mrs Saude Amina Atoyebi as acting General Manager.
