24 students from Caleb schools score over 300 in 2025 UTME

A total of 24 students from the Caleb Group of Schools in Lagos achieved scores between 301 and 366 in this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), representing 91.5% of the maximum 400 marks set by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Additionally, 39 students earned scores ranging from 268 to 299, accounting for 74.75% of the overall mark.
Addressing this development, the Media and Public Relations Manager for the school’s founder, Professor Elvis Otobo, expressed joy at the performance, describing the academic feat as a well-established tradition within the school.
He stated that Caleb Group of Schools is widely recognized for its academic strength and commitment to moral values.
He explained that since its founding in 1986 by Dr. Oladega Adebogun, the institution has always fostered an environment that nurtures students’ success not only in their studies but also in their character.
“So, aside from quality education, we also emphasize moral formation and inculcation of core values such as Godliness, self-discipline, and responsibility in our schools.
“This is because we strongly believe that these qualities are essential for thriving in today’s globalised world; hence, we reflect them in our comprehensive programmes designed to foster both intellectual growth and the development of well-rounded individuals,” Otobo stressed.
He also mentioned that the school’s leadership has extended congratulations to both the students and their teachers for the achievement and has restated its dedication to offering high-quality education.
He emphasized that the school’s primary mission is to develop balanced learners capable of making meaningful contributions to their professions and to society as a whole.
