In her 76th committee meeting, the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Igbariam, Anambra, Appraisal and Promotion Committee (A&PC) announced the promotion of 25 staff members to the positions of Reader and Professor, respectively.
At the University’s 127th Senate on March 27, 2024, Ag. Vice Chancellor Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha announced the promotions, congratulated the newly promoted staff, and tasked them with integrating their wealth of experience into the administration’s vision for the university’s growth and development.
Those promoted to the ranks of Professor include;
- Dr. Ego E. Dike – Public Administration
- Dr. Njideka Ebisi – Sociology
- Dr. Daniel Enibe – Agric Economics and Extention
- Dr. Ogonna Ifebi – Economics
- Dr. Bruno Ibekilo – Economics
- Dr. Emmanuel Iloh – Pure & Industrial Chemistry
- Dr. Samuel Muoneke – Philosophy
- Dr. Chinedum Obikeze – Marketing
- Dr. Chibuike Oguanobi – Economics
- Dr Ndidi Okolo – Architecture
- Dr Johnny Okongwu – Law
- Dr. Chukwuekwe Ukpaka – Biological Sciences
