NSUK appoints first female Vice Chancellor
Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) has selected its first female Vice-Chancellor.
Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, a professor of Islamic Studies, has been chosen to lead the institution.
Barrister Muhammad Ubandoma-Aliyu, Secretary to the State Government (SSG), made the statement on Wednesday.
According to the release, Governor Abdullahi Sule approved the nomination after lengthy deliberations and a comprehensive consideration of the Governing Council’s proposals, led by Professor Attahiru Jega.
Governor Sule, as Visitor to the state-owned university, officially authorised Professor Liman’s appointment, which will take effect on April 15th, 2024.
