President Tinubu appoints 65 new members to governing councils of tertiary institutions (FULL LIST)

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of 65 new members to the governing councils of 13 Federal Universities and Tertiary Institutions across Nigeria.

This information was disclosed in a statement by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity), released on August 7, 2024, as seen on the State House website.

This significant move aims to enhance the administration and strategic direction of these institutions.

The appointees, including chairpersons and members of each council, are expected to bring their expertise and experience to ensure effective governance and advancement in their respective institutions.

The President expressed confidence that these individuals will perform their duties diligently and within the scope of their statutory responsibilities.
