A fire ravaged a section of the University College Hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State, early Sunday morning.
The fire broke out in one of the hospital’s offices on the third level of the South West 3 Ward.
However, men from the Oyo State Fire Service arrived at the hospital to extinguish the fire, causing panic in the wards as patients and relatives in adjoining wards ran around throughout the crisis.
As of the time of this report, UCH management has not issued an official statement addressing the incident.
