First Lady Donates 50,000 Exercise Books to Kaduna




The Kaduna State Government has begun distributing 50,000 exercise books to primary schools, which were presented by Senator Oluremi Tinubu, wife of the President, through Hajia Hafsat Uba Sani, wife of Kaduna State’s Executive Governor.

Prof Sani Bello, Commissioner of Education, hailed the initiative and praised Senator Oluremi Tinubu and Hajia Hafsat Uba Sani for their admirable goals. He stated that Governor Uba Sani prioritises education and rural transformation, which aligns with the Renewed Hope Initiative.

The exercise books were provided by the Education Secretaries of 23 Local Government Areas and three Senatorial Zones. The Commissioner of Education ensured that the materials reached the intended beneficiaries at the primary school level, increasing accountability.

Hajia Rabi Salisu, Commissioner of Human Services and Social Development, emphasised Renewed Hope Initiatives’ palliatives, which included rice, clothing, and educational help. She commended Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Hajia Hafsat Uba Sani, and Governor Uba Sani for their ongoing commitment to educational progress.

The distribution exercise was intended to reduce the burden on parents during school resumption. The initiative is part of Governor Uba Sani’s sustainability agenda, which emphasises human capital development.

The Director of Human Resources at SUBEB praised Governor Uba Sani’s dedication to education and rural change. He complimented Hajia Hafsat Uba Sani for commencing the distribution during the peak of school resumption, ensuring that students received timely assistance.
