Esomnofu Chidiebube lfechukwu from Crown Grace School, Mararaba, Nasarawa State, won the 10th edition of the Maltina Teacher of the Year competition in the grand finale in Lagos on Friday night.
lfechukwu will get a cash reward of N10 million.
He will also receive all-expense-paid development training overseas.
His school will receive either a fully equipped computer laboratory or a six-classroom block worth N20 million in his honour.
Kehinde Oladapo Olukayode of Molusi College in Oke Sopen, Ijebu Igbo, was the first runner-up, taking home a cash prize of N3 million.
Aniefiok Iniobong Udoh of Community Secondary Commercial School, Ikot Oku Ikono, Akwa Ibom State, was the second runner-up.
