The Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF) is now accepting applications from eligible organizations for the 2024/25 Youth Leadership Development Funds. This grant initiative focuses on empowering youth and building a strong youth ecosystem throughout Nigeria. Grants will be awarded to selected organizations capable of operating as regional hubs, aligning with NYFF’s strategic focus areas.
Priority Areas
NYFF encourages project proposals that integrate Technology, Media, Art, Entertainment, and Creative Industries.
All Catalyst grantees should base their proposals around the theme, “Facilitating Good Governance.”
Allocated funds for catalyst grantees must be split as follows: 50% for the implementation of the applicant’s initiative and the remaining 50% to support regional youth ecosystem development as a regional hub.
Benefits of the Catalyst Grant
Successful applicants may receive up to $50,000 in grant funding. Proposals and budgets should reflect this potential funding amount.
Eligibility Criteria for NYFF Catalyst Grant
- Applicants must be formally registered entities with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission or other relevant local registration authorities.
- Organizations must be youth-led, civic-oriented, and committed to sustainable solutions within NYFF’s thematic areas.
- Demonstrable track record and reputable past performance.
- Legal certification such as a SCUML certificate and other relevant operational licenses.
- Established physical office and corporate banking account.
- Regional applicants must have strong reach and presence in their proposed implementation states.
- Applicants should demonstrate capacity for regional partnerships.
- Submission of financial documents demonstrating good standing is required.
- Two references from reputable individuals or organizations must be included.

- Completing the Catalyst Grant Application Questionnaire
- Proposal Submission: Submit a concept note/proposal of up to 3,000 words using the Catalyst Grant Proposal Template provided.
- Section A: Organizational background, challenges, planned initiatives, and scope of work.
- Section B: Monitoring and Evaluation plan detailing expected inputs, outputs, outcomes, and impacts.
- Section C: Project work plan with activity timeline and detailed budget.
- Organizational Identification Document: Upload CAC registration, certificates, SCUML, and other relevant documents as a single PDF.
- Referees’ Details: Provide names, positions, phone numbers, and emails for two referees.
