POLAC Announces Screening Process for 11th Regular Course Admission




The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) invites all candidates who successfully completed their online registration for admission into the 11th Regular Course to participate in the Automated Physical/Credential Screening, Computer-Based Test (CBT), Medical Screening, and Board Interview exercises. These activities are scheduled to commence on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 0800hrs daily, at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil-Kano, and will continue until completion. Applicants are advised to visit www.polac.edu.ng to print their invitation slips for the exercise.

  1. Applicants will first undergo the CBT, and only those who pass will proceed to the next stage, which includes Physical/Credential Screening, Psychological and Medical Screening, and subsequently, the Board Interview. Accommodation will be provided for participants.
  2. All candidates must report to the screening center dressed in clean white T-shirts and shorts and bring the following mandatory screening documents, neatly arranged in two white flat files with a recent passport photograph attached:i. Evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government-recognized medical hospital.
    ii. Evidence of good character from the Village/District Head of the applicant.
    iii. Certificate of Origin signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary.
    iv. National Identity Number (NIN) slip printout.
    v. Original and duplicate copies of credentials, including O’ Level Result(s), Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age, and JAMB result printout.
    vi. Printout of the application form.
    vii. Duly completed Guarantor’s form.
    viii. Invitation slip.

Note: Any candidate who fails to present the items listed above will not be considered for screening.

  1. Applicants are further advised to adhere strictly to their scheduled date and time and follow all specific guidelines for the screening exercise.
  2. Meanwhile, the Commandant, AIG Sadiq I. Abubakar, mni, has assured the public of transparency and accountability throughout the screening exercise. He reiterated that the admission process is completely free of charge and cautioned applicants to be vigilant against fraudsters attempting to exploit the process. The Commandant warned that anyone found engaging in malpractice will face the full force of the law.
