Primary and Secondary School Students Arrested at a Drug-filled Party




The Kenyan police force raided a party of 35 primary school pupils and secondary school students in a rental house at Sango Estate in Homa Bay town, Kenya.

The raid was carried out on Friday 3 July 2020 by Arujo Location Chief, Robert Lango, Homa Bay Township Assistant Chief, Duncan Odhiambo and his Arujo Sub-location counterpart Jackton Olielo. 20 girls and 15 boys aged between 13 and 17 were found drunk and naked while 6 others escaped.  Used condoms were also found in the 2-bedroom apartment.

It was gathered that a parent rented the house for her two daughters, but neighbours raised the alarm after hearing loud music.

Parents and guardians of the children were summoned to report to the police station on Monday July 6 while the owner of the apartment, Patrick Ayieko was arrested.
