EKSU denies rumour on alleged plan to disengage staff
The Management of Ekiti State University has made an announcement disclaiming the rumour concerning plant to disengage some of its staff. This was contained in a statement published on the university’s official website.
The statement reads, “The attention of the Vice-Chancellor has been drawn to the rumour being peddled on campus that there is a plan to disengage more staff of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Edward Olanipekun wishes to clarify that it is not true as there was no place such a plan was conceived. It is the figment of the imagination of the author(s) of the rumour.
Members of staff are hereby advised to disregard the rumour and go about their lawful duties.
The Vice Chancellor wishes to reiterate that the welfare of staff and students remains paramount to the University Management under his leadership.”
