Yobe State Governor builds model schools
Governor Mai Mala Buni has made it clear from the onset of his administration that education is a priority. Particular emphasis was given to primary and secondary education to give Yobe state the foundation to equitably compete in at all levels of learning and knowledge. Governor Buni’s policy is hinged on the fact that getting education at primary and secondary levels is key to improving education standard in Yobe state.
Yobe state governor, Mai Mala Buni, has constructed seven ultra-model primary and basic secondary schools across the major towns of the state. The major towns are where population is higher and schools may be congested.
One of the problems governor Buni’s model schools will address is decongesting schools in the urban areas that are currently largely overstretched.
The model schools will also encourage school enrollment and ensure that all children of school did not miss education at all levels. Congested classrooms mean; distractions that make it more difficult for students to learn and for teachers to teach. This is the unique education challenge Governor Buni is addressing with the building and equipping of model schools.
