Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has received the coveted NUT Award for his remarkable performance in improving the state’s education sector.
The award was delivered at the World Teachers’ Day 2024 celebration in Eagle Square, Abuja, which was organised in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Education.
This is according to a statement issued by his spokesman, Bature Dawakin Tofa, in Kano on Saturday.
Titus Ambe, the NUT National Chairman, applauded Yusuf’s commitment to improve education, particularly through teacher welfare and ongoing training.
Mr Yusuf reiterated his commitment to keep investing in education, underlining the necessity of sustaining progress so that future generations can thrive.
