Abiona to Present UI’s 576th Inaugural Lecture on February 13

The Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Ibadan, Prof. Adekeye Abiona, is scheduled to present the institution’s 576th inaugural lecture.

The lecture, titled Nothing for Us, Without Us, will commence at 3 p.m. and will be presided over by the university’s vice-chancellor, Prof. Kayode Adebowale. The event is set to take place on Wednesday, February 13, 2025, at Trenchard Hall, a location deeply associated with the university’s longstanding tradition of academic excellence.

The inaugural lecture series is a cherished tradition of the university, serving as a platform for esteemed scholars to showcase their research and academic contributions.

Abiona, a professor from the Department of Adult Education, is a respected scholar and a graduate of the institution. His expertise lies in Community Development/Community Education.
