Bayelsa Medical University Direct Entry/Post-UTME Form for 2024/2025 Academic Session

The BMU Post-UTME/Direct Entry form is accessible for the 2024–2025 academic session. Prospective students can apply using this form for a variety of BMU programs.

It is essential that every candidate understands the prerequisites and the application procedure.

BMU Cut-Off Marks

To apply, you must meet the required cut-off marks for your chosen programme:

  • Medicine and Surgery (MBBS)
    • Indigene: 245
    • Non-Indigene: 272
  • Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
    • Indigene: 200
    • Non-Indigene: 220
  • Nursing Science (B.NSc)
    • Indigene: 207
    • Non-Indigene: 240
  • Other Programmes
    • Indigene: 160
    • Non-Indigene: 160

Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, ensure you meet the following criteria:

  1. Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
    • A minimum score of 160 in the 2024 UTME is required.
  2. Age Requirement
    • Applicants must be 16 years or older.
  3. O’Level Requirements
    • You need at least five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

Application Process

To apply for the BMU Post-UTME/Direct Entry, follow these steps:

  • Visit the BMU website to begin your application.
  • Access the application portal directly via BMU Application Portal.
  • If BMU is not listed as your first choice on JAMB CAPS, update your choice and upload all O-Level results at a JAMB office or a JAMB-registered CBT Centre.
