Admission Requirements for General Nursing Programme
Applicants for the 3-year General Nursing Science Programme must meet the following criteria:
- Five credits in SSCE, GCE, WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, obtained in no more than two sittings, with credits in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- NABTEB results cannot be combined with results from other exam boards.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- Provide a statutory declaration of age or birth certificate.
- Present a certificate of origin.
- Submit two recent passport-sized photographs.

The application form costs ₦15,000, payable to the following account:

Applicants should note that cash or POS payments will not be accepted. After payment, candidates must present the teller at the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Benue State Ministry of Health and Human Services, to collect the application form.
Submission of Application and Aptitude Test
Completed application forms should be returned to the same office with photocopies of all required documents. The aptitude test will take place at the Benue State College of Nursing Sciences, Makurdi. Candidates must arrive at least 30 minutes before the test starts.
