During their morning assembly, students at the Bethesda Home and School for the Blind in Lagos State recited the three stanzas of the song “Nigeria, We Hail Thee”.
The school posted a video on YouTube and X.com on Monday with the statement, “Monday motivation from our talented stars!”
“Watch our amazing students at Bethesda School for the Blind sing the national anthem and fill your week with pride and joy!”
Following President Bola Tinubu’s decision to reintroduce “Nigeria, We Hail Thee” as the national song, replacing “Arise, O Compatriots,” several Nigerians, including schools, have begun learning the old anthem.
Last Friday, pupils of Justice and Peace Primary School in Ogbere-Ijebu, Ogun State, recited all three stanzas of the reintroduced anthem during their morning assembly.
