A Diploma Two female student named Jemima Shetima Balami, who was doing an industrial attachment with Adamawa State Television in Yola, took her own life. Jemima, a student of Federal Polytechnic, Mubi studying mass communication, is said to have killed herself by  consuming a poisonous substance because her boyfriend declared he was no longer interested in dating her.
