The Chevron Internship Programme is part of Chevron’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and its support for the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme. This initiative offers valuable learning opportunities to Nigerian students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programmes.
The programme is designed to help students build and apply technical knowledge, acquire new skills, and contribute effectively within a professional setting.
As an intern, you will engage in diverse assignments aligned with your field of study and/or research focus. A supervisor will be assigned to oversee your daily tasks and guide your growth and development throughout the internship.

Requirements for Chevron Internship Program
- Applicant must be a Nigerian studying in-country or overseas.
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in an academic program leading to a graduate degree. This could be a Bachelor’s, National Diploma and/or Higher National Diploma.
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in an academic program leading to a Master’s degree, Doctorate degree and/or postgraduate professional qualification.
- Research and/or Industry experience must be a requirement to complete your program.
- Applicant must possess good communication skills, exhibit good habits, and be strong with internal deals to succeed.
- Applicants must be able to work with no or less supervision, and must be able to withstand any form of pressure.
- Applicants should possess leadership skills, and problem-solving abilities, and must be ready to explore.
