A Corps member identified as Stephen Teru took the responsibility upon himself to make school furniture for over 80 pupils in two public schools. The Cross River state Corper took to Facebook to celebrate the community for their support all through his stay. In his post, he mentioned that he volunteered to use his skill to produce desks, tables, benches and shelves for the comfort of the students.
Here are the names of the Schools; Community Secondary School and St. Georges Primary School in same community located at Old Netim, Akamkpa LGA. Cross River State.
You can imagine the days it took him to achieve this goal, the sacrifices he made to make this project a reality. This is an example other Corps members should emulate. Kudos! to you Stephen.
