Delta State Polytechnic Ozoro issues memo on SUG cultural day celebration
The Dean, Students’ Affairs, Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro has issued a memo regarding the SUG cultural day celebration for students. See details below:
The cultural day celebration for the 2019/2020 Academic session has been slated for Wednesday 16th to Saturday, 19th December 2020.

The table below shows the days of celebration for the various cultural groups.
1. Cultural Day, Group 1 – Wednesday 16/12/2020
- Akwa Cross
- Yoruba
- Edo
- Okpe
2. Cultural Day, Group 2 – Thursday 17/12/2020
- Urhobo
- Igbo
- Itsekiri
- Ika
3. Cultural Day, Group 3 – Friday 18/12/2020
- Ndokwa
- Aniocha/Oshimili
- Izon
4. Cultural Day, Group 4 – Saturday 19/12/2020
- Isoko
– Please note that cultural week is NOT Iecture free for any Ethnic group that may be celebrating cultural day.
– The president of every cultural group must apply for approval for their cultural day celebration.
– The Dean of Students must give approval to all cultural activities organized on campus.
– Any cultural group(s) that fails to comply with the provisions stated above will forfeit their cultural day celebration.
– Each cultural group MUST clean the environment used for the cultural activities immediately after the celebration.
