ABAKALIKI (Sundiata Scholar) – Women have been urged by Mrs. Mary-Maudline Nwifuru, the wife of the governor of Ebonyi, to avoid letting early marriage and social norms interfere with their education.
When Nwifuru’s 2012 Course Mates in Mass Communication from Ebonyi State University paid her a courtesy visit in her Abakaliki office on Thursday, she delivered the speech.
She pushed them to become physiologically resilient so they could pursue their education no matter what.
She claims that as education improves life choices, it is a means to a better life.
She encouraged them to make their fair share of contributions to the state’s progress and development while expressing her gratitude for the visit.
The group’s leader, Mr. James Ajaogu, stated that the purpose of the tour was to get to know the current administration and to express support for it.
