The Federal Polytechnic Ilaro (ILAROPOLY) has officially announced the schedule for the Higher National Diploma (HND) full-time entrance examinations for the 2024/2025 academic year.
This notice pertains to all candidates seeking admission into the full-time HND programs.
Entrance Examination Schedule
The entrance exams will take place over two days, with various schools and departments participating.
Day 1: Tuesday, November 5, 2024 Time: 8:00 A.M. Participating Schools and Departments:
School of Management Studies: Accountancy, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, Marketing, Public Administration, Taxation
School of Communication and Information Technology: Library and Information Science, Mass Communication, Music Technology, Office Technology and Management
School of Environmental Studies: Architectural Technology, Art and Design, Building Technology, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Surveying and Geo-informatics, Transportation Planning and Management, Urban and Regional Planning
Day 2: Thursday, November 7, 2024 Time: 8:00 A.M. Participating Schools and Departments:
School of Agricultural Technology: Agricultural Extension and Management, Animal Production Technology, Crop Production Technology
School of Engineering: Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Welding and Fabrication
School of Pure and Applied Sciences: Computer Science, Food Technology, Hospitality Management, Mathematics and Statistics, Nutrition and Dietetics, Science Laboratory Technology, Tourism Management
Application Submission Deadline
Candidates must submit their online applications for the HND Full-Time programs by November 1, 2024.
Required Documents for the Screening Exam
All candidates attending the HND entrance examination should bring three sets of the following documents:
Printed copies of the Acknowledgement and Examination Slips
Clear photocopies of the ND Notification of Result and O/Level Result
Industrial Attachment Completion Letter (IT Letter)
Examination Venue and Details
The entrance exams will be held at the Polytechnic ICT Centre, West Campus, and will be conducted in a computer-based format (CB).
