Federal University of Technology, Babura (FUTB) invites applications from qualified candidates for the 2024/2025 Post UTME screening process.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Achieve a minimum of five credits in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or an equivalent. Results may be obtained in no more than two sittings.

- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (B.Tech) – 140 points
- Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech) – 140 points
School of Science, Information, and Communications Technology

- Cyber Security (B.Sc.) – 150 points
- Software Engineering (B.Sc.) – 140 points
- Chemistry (B.Sc.) – 140 points
- Industrial Chemistry (B.Sc.) – 140 points
- Mathematics (B.Sc.) – 140 points
- Physics (B.Sc.) – 140 points
- Applied Geophysics (B.Sc.) – 140 points
- Biology (B.Sc.) – 140 points
- Biotechnology (B.Sc.) – 140 points
Application Process
Online registration begins Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
Steps to Apply
- Access the Official Website:
Go to FUTB’s website and navigate to the “Admission Menu” to locate the Post-UTME portal. - Eligibility Verification:
Enter your JAMB registration number to verify eligibility. If eligible, you can view specific course requirements by selecting “More Information.” - Complete the Application:
- Select “Apply Now” to begin.
- Log in with an existing Google account, or create a new account by choosing “Sign up with Google” or using the manual form option.
- Complete the sign-up form, click “Create Account,” and check your email for an activation code.
- Enter the code and select “Confirm” to continue.
- Make Payment:
Once payment is confirmed, select “Proceed to Application Form” to complete your application details. - Submit Your Application:
Complete each form section by selecting “Next” to advance, then finalize by choosing “Preview and Submit.” A confirmation message will be displayed upon successful submission.
How to Check Payment Status
To confirm payment:
- Go to “Transaction History” on your dashboard.
- Check the “Status” column for details on each transaction.
