Female student pours hot water on colleague in Abia
A female student from Abia State University, Uturu, Chinedu Faithful Nwagbuo, has been admitted to a hospital in Umuahia after she was attacked with hot water by another female student.
Miss Nwagbuo, who is a 200-level student, sustained injuries from the hot water attack carried out by a 100-level female student during a dispute between the two.
No specific details have been given regarding the incident, but the injuries from the hot liquid impacted the upper parts of the victim’s body.
Meanwhile, the suspect is reportedly in police custody to facilitate the investigation, while classmates and family members of the victim have been visiting her at the hospital.
Abia State University has not yet issued a confirmation of the incident.
