Foundation to sponsor students in 23 Kaduna LGs in their JAMB exams
The Caleb Danladi Foundation (CDF) announced that it will fund the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams for indigent students in 23 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Kaduna State in an effort to promote equal educational opportunities.
According to a statement from CDF, the new project aims to enable worthy persons who are suffering financial obstacles to pursue higher education in the state.
Caleb Danladi, the CEO and founder of CDF, clarified that the commitment’s main goal is to improve the lives of people who might not have the resources to take advantage of further educational opportunities that are essential to their growth and development.
He said, “Education is a powerful tool for transformation, and every deserving student, regardless of their background, should have the chance to realize their full potential. Our foundation is dedicated to breaking down barriers and creating pathways to success for the less privileged.”
According to Danladi, the sponsorship programme will ensure that qualifying students’ financial limitations do not prevent them from pursuing higher education by paying the whole cost of JAMB registration.
The programme is in line with the foundation’s main goals of uplifting, educating, and empowering people in their communities.
The foundation will work with community leaders, non-governmental organisations, and educational institutions to guarantee the identification and outreach of possible candidates.
“The application process will be designed to be accessible to students facing economic challenges, with a focus on academic merit and commitment to education,” it stated.
The Foundation emphasises the shared responsibility of promoting positive change and generating chances for the less fortunate, and it calls on community members, well-wishers, and potential partners to join forces in supporting this cause.
According to CDF, the organisation has over the years implemented a number of initiatives to serve the state’s most vulnerable citizens. These initiatives have included, among other things, the distribution of food, skill development, and educational support.
