Full Schedule of Events for The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) 33rd Convocation Ceremony

With its 33rd Convocation Ceremony, the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) plans to commemorate a noteworthy achievement. The ceremony, which combines tradition, culture, and forward-thinking ideas, will be attended by notable academics, students, parents, and well-wishers from many backgrounds.

All interested parties are formally invited by the Vice-Chancellor of FUTA, Professor Adenike Temidayo Oladiji, FAS, in collaboration with the Governing Council, Senate, and academic community. An extensive schedule of the events planned for this momentous occasion is provided in this post.

General Information for Attendees

FUTA has established certain regulations to ensure a seamless experience for attendees:

  1. Restricted Access to Auditorium: It’s pertinent to note that parents, guardians, and members of the public will not be granted access to the Auditorium. However, a designated area has been set up where the live proceedings of the event can be viewed. Access to this area will be given upon the presentation of an invitation card.
  2. Event Admission: Admission to the event venues will be restricted to officials with the appropriate tags and individuals with invitation cards.
  3. Vehicle Restrictions: Vehicles bearing the designated tags should be parked in the allocated areas. Any vehicle without the requisite tag will face movement restrictions within the campus.

The 33rd Convocation Ceremony at FUTA is expected to be a spectacle of pomp, ceremony, and academic brilliance. Through this event, the university highlights its dedication to encouraging innovation, research, and the transmission of knowledge for societal advancement in addition to celebrating the academic accomplishments of its students.
