It would be recalled that based on the senate approved academic calendar the 2018/2019 academic session officially ended on 5th March,2020 the corona virus pandemic and the attendant guidelines issue by the Federal Government did not allow the re opening of schools higher institutions inclusive
However based on recent and very positive development in the management of the pandemic and the directives of the presidential task force on Covid 19 as well as the National University Commission (NUC) The Vice chancellor on behalf of the senate has approved the opening of the university portal for fresh students to commence registration formalities for the 2019/2020 academic session with effects from Monday 12th October,2020
Consequently on the above fresh students are hereby informed of the commencement of registration formalities of the 2019/2020 academic session with effect from 12th October,2020 further information will be made available in due course
