FUOYE notice on approval of 70/30 sundry fee payment arrangement and extension of units

The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has introduced a significant development in its fee payment structure to better support its student body. A statement was released to this effect.

The statement reads: “We trust that this letter finds you in optimal spirits and unwavering academic enthusiasm. Pursuant to the VISIONAIRES’ unwavering commitment to safeguarding the paramount interests of the student body, we are delighted to announce that, following productive deliberations with the University management; it resulted in the approval of a flexible 70/30 payment structure for sundry fees.

“This payment plan facilitates a staggered settlement of sundry fees, wherein students remit 70% of the total amount in the first semester and the outstanding 30% in the subsequent semester. This flexible payment structure is specifically designed to alleviate the financial burden on students, thereby ensuring uninterrupted academic progression and mitigating the risk of registration delays attributable to financial constraints.

“Additionally, in tandem with the flexible sundry fee payment, we are delighted to inform you that, the application of Extra Units have been approved for final-year students. This concession is designed to enable final-year students to complete their academic programme within the stipulated time-frame, thereby avoiding unnecessary delays that could potentially impact their future career prospects.

“Moreover, final-year students seeking to benefit from the Extra Units should be mindful of the 27-unit ceiling for total course extensions. We strongly advise the concerned students to judiciously leverage this valuable opportunity, as we are confident it will significantly enhance their future prospects.

“We express our deepest gratitude for your ongoing support, which inspires the VISIONAIRES to persistently champion the welfare and interests of the student community.
