The university stated that academic activities are now scheduled to begin on Monday, 20th January 2025.
This decision was taken to ensure a more conducive atmosphere for teaching, research, and learning, considering prevailing circumstances.
In a letter signed by the Acting Registrar, Mrs. A. S. A. Ndayako, the postponement was approved during the 498th (special) Senate Meeting held on Wednesday, 20th November 2024.
The Senate expressed its deep regret for any inconvenience caused by this decision and extended its gratitude to all stakeholders for their understanding and cooperation.
