Gashua University holds maiden convocation June 28

GASHUA (Sundiata Scholar) – Yobe The Federal University Gashua (FUGA) in Yobe says its maiden combined convocation will hold on June 28.

Malam Adamu Saleh, Head, Information and Protocol Unit of the institution, disclosed this to the in Gashua on Thursday.

According to him, first and higher degrees will be awarded at the ceremony.

“There will be a maiden pre convocation lecture titled, “Beyond the Horizon : Embracing the Unknown, Unlocking Your Full Potential”, under the chairmanship of Alhaji Bukar Goni, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, African Aviation and Aerospace University, Abuja.

“On June 27, a paper will be presented by former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Pantami, the Majidadin Daular Usmaniyya,” he said.

Saleh said other activities lined up for the ceremony included a media briefing on June 23 and interdenominational church service and Jummuat prayers on June 22 and June 27, respectively.
