Great Ife Alumni 2025 Scholarship for Nigerian Undergraduates

The DFW Branch of the Great Ife Alumni Association is delighted to announce its annual scholarship programme for students of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

The Great Ife Alumni Scholarship reflects a commitment to giving back to the university that has empowered DFW members to not only face life’s challenges but excel despite them.

Recognising the struggles faced by disadvantaged students, the DFW members have established need-based annual Scholarship Awards to support exceptional indigent students from their Alma Mater.

Requirements for DFW Great Ife Alumni Association Undergraduate Scholarship

• Applicants must be enrolled and on track to complete and obtain a Bachelor’s degree from the University
• Applicants must be in good academic standing (no less than a 3.0 overall grade-point average on a 5.0 scale)
• Applicants must have completed and passed all registered 100 Level courses
• The scholarship amount may vary from year to year and will be disbursed at the beginning of the fall semester
• The Association reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship award if the requirements stipulated above are not met or the participants’ character comes under question
• The Association reserves the right to withhold the scholarship in any given year if a suitable candidate is not identified
• All submitted documents remain the property of the association

Interested and qualified? Go to DFW Great Ife Alumni Association on dfw.greatifealumni.org to apply

• Complete the Application form below on or before December 31st, 2024
• All required fields on the form must be filled in
• The email address provided on the form must be the active University assigned email address. This will be used for all communication
• Once your application is received, the scholarship committee will review applications and reach out with a decision
