Dr Nsikak Akpan, a lecturer at Foreign Links College in Moro, Osun State, has started a 150-hour marathon lecture.
Akpan is seeking to set a Guinness World Record for the longest lecture ever delivered.
According to reports, the marathon lecture began early on Monday, September 23, 2024, at the institution’s campus in Moro town.
As of the time of publication, Akpan has been lecturing for more than six hours.
Akpan further stated that the title of his talk is ‘Relationship between Man’s Environment and Health’.
He also confirmed that it is being livestreamed for verification purposes.
The ambitious project has gained great attention, as it aspires to surpass the current record for continuous lecturing.
