Emeka Chukwuma, a 56-year-old professor at Delta State University, Abraka, has reportedly been killed by gunmen.

According to sources, Chukwuma was attacked at his residence in the St. Bridges area of Umueji, Asaba, the Delta State capital, on Friday night.

The professor had returned to Asaba for his routine weekend visit when the unfortunate incident took place.
