JAMB 2025 UTME Registration, Mock, and Examination Dates (FULL DETAILS)
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released significant dates for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, announced that the sale of forms will commence on January 31, 2025, and conclude on March 5, 2025.
For Direct Entry applicants, the sale of application forms and e-PIN vending will begin on March 10, 2025, and close on April 7, 2025.
The Mock-UTME will take place on April 5, 2025, while the main UTME is scheduled to run from April 25, 2025, to May 5, 2025.
Candidates registering for UTME alongside the mock exam will pay ₦8,200, whereas those opting for only the UTME (excluding the mock) will pay ₦7,200.
A trial mock exam, designed specifically for underage candidates or those seeking experience with the Computer-Based Test (CBT), will cost ₦3,500.
Direct Entry candidates are required to pay ₦5,700.
The breakdown of fees is as follows: UTME/Direct Entry JAMB application fee is ₦3,500; Reading Text: ₦1,000; CBT Centre Registration Service Charge: ₦700; CBT Centre UTME Service Charge: ₦1,500; CBT Mock Service Charge: ₦1,500; Bank Charges: ₦500; and CBT Mock-UTME Centre Charge: ₦1,500.
Prof. Oloyede further revealed that a specialized mock UTME has been introduced for candidates below the age of 16.
This initiative is not intended for admission purposes but aims to help underage candidates assess their abilities and prepare for future exams.
He clarified that candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025, to be eligible for admission into universities, polytechnics, or colleges of education.
However, exceptionally gifted candidates under the age of 15 may qualify if they score at least 280 in the UTME and excel in their Senior Secondary Certificate and post-UTME examinations.
