Kwara Launches Online Portal for Teaching Job Applications

The Kwara State Teaching Service Commission has provided the application link for its teaching job recruitment.

This was stated in an announcement released in Ilorin on Tuesday by the commission’s Chairman, Mallam Bello Abubakar.

Abubakar mentioned that interested and qualified candidates could submit their applications through the link https://tescom.kwarastate.gov.ng.

He stated that the portal would officially open at midnight (12:00 a.m.) on Wednesday and remain accessible until February 14.

The chairman urged applicants to thoroughly review the instructions provided on the portal to understand the application process. He also advised them to read the initial press statement issued regarding the recruitment process.

However, he emphasized that individuals without university degrees in relevant subjects should not apply, and NCE holders without university degrees were also ineligible to apply.

“Applicants who meet the first-layer recruitment criteria will be invited for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) at centres closest to their local government of residence.”

“After the test, successful candidates will undergo drug tests at approved NDLEA centres among other verification exercises that will precede the issuance of employment letters.”

“This process, for the record, will strongly balance between qualification, competence, employability, and availability to work in the hinterlands/rural areas, where we mostly require teachers,” Abubakar said.
