The Honeytreat Trade Academy (HTA) is partnering with the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) to provide free construction training for artisans.
Honeytreat Trade Academy (HTA) is a private indigenous institute that focuses on empowering individuals to acquire skills in the construction industry to alleviate unemployment in Nigeria. HTA is an institute dedicated to excellence in building competency and technological proficiency in the construction field. They provide learners with rigorous hands-on practical instruction in construction trades such as carpentry, painting and decorative works, masonry, plumbing and pipe fitting, electrical wiring and installation, and welding and fabrication. All following the National Skills Qualification level 1, 2, and 3 program, which is monitored and powered by the Nigeria Institute of Building. They are now in partnership with BOSCH, NIOB and LSETF, to mention a few.
The following are the courses to be treated:
- Tiling and brickwork
- Woodwork and cabinet making
- Domestic water supply and waste management
- Domestic power supply and solar installation

Requirements for LSETF/HTA Construction Training Program
- Applicants must be between 18 – 35 years
- Applicants must be based in Lagos
- Minimum of O Level certificate
- Currently unemployed
- Has LASRRA ID card
