NECO GCE Exam Timetable 2024: Full Schedule and Dates




The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the official timetable for the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) for private candidates (GCE).

This comprehensive schedule details all exam dates, times, and subjects, serving as an essential guide for candidates preparing for their exams.

The exams will take place from Thursday, November 14th to Saturday, December 14th, 2024.

Essential Information for Candidates

  • Check with the NECO State Office to confirm locations for French and Arabic Paper IV (Orals).
  • Nigerian language exams include Literature.
  • Albino and visually impaired candidates are granted an additional 30 minutes.
  • Scientific calculators are permitted.
  • Electronic communication devices are strictly prohibited in the exam hall.
  • Technical Drawing candidates must bring their own drawing tools.
  • Failure to attend any practical or oral exam (Paper I/IV) will result in zero marks for that subject.
