NECO postpones Common Entrance Exams into Unity Colleges over low enrollment
Due to low enrollment, the National Examinations Council, NECO, has delayed the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination for Federal Unity Colleges.
It also rescheduled the entrance examination at the Federal Government Academy in Suleja.
With the current arrangements, the Common Entrance Examination, which was originally set for April 20th, 2024, has been moved to June 1st, 2024.
The admission of gifted and talented children to the Federal Government Academy, Suleja, which was previously slated for May 4th, 2024, will now take place on May 25th, 2024.
Azeez Sani, Ag. Director, Directorate of Information and Digital Communication, stated on Tuesday that the postponing of the two examinations was due to low candidate enrollment.
He explained that all candidates, parents, guardians, schools and relevant stakeholders are therefore enjoined to take note of the new dates for the examinations.
“The Registration of candidates will continue till the new dates for the examinations,” Azeez noted in the statement.
