Osun Poly to admit students for 10 new courses with a cut-off mark of 120

The management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has announced that the institution will admit students to ten new programs as part of the ongoing admissions process for the 2024/2025 academic year.

The Polytechnic has decided on a cut-off mark of 120 for individuals who took the 2024 Joint Admission and Matriculation Examination (JAMB) and want to enrol in the institution.

According to a statement signed by the institution’s registrar, Mr. Abiodun Oloyede, the ten new programs recently accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) include Geology, Agricultural Technology, Mechatronics Engineering Technology, Water Resources Engineering Technology, Library and Information Science, Health Information Management, and Public Administration. These programs are now available for admission in the 2024/2025 academic session.

Mr. Oloyede encouraged candidates who scored 120 and above in the 2024 UTME and chose Osun State Polytechnic, Iree as their first choice, or who intend to change their first choice to the institution, to take advantage of the opportunity to enrol in these newly listed courses. The polytechnic’s existing programs are also open for admission in various faculties.

The NBTE recently visited the polytechnic to accredit new courses at the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma levels.

Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology is one of the new courses available at the Higher National Diploma (HND) level for the ongoing admission process, with options in Farm Power and Machinery, Soil and Water, Post-Harvest, and Science Laboratory Technology (Physics with Electronics Option).

Mr. Oloyede further stated that the application form for Post-UTME is currently available on the institution’s portal at https://ospolyportal.com for a fee of Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N3,500.00), while the HND form is sold for N21,800.00.
