Singer Kelly Anthony to Sponsor First-Year Education for 5 UNIBEN Students

Kelly Anthony, a Nigerian singer based in Canada, has revealed his plans to support five students by covering their first-year tuition at the University of Benin (UNIBEN).

In a recent statement, the rising music star explained that he specifically chose to assist students at UNIBEN because Benin City is both his birthplace and hometown.

“I decided to embark on this project by sponsoring 5 students of the University of Benin because Benin City is my hometown and my place of birth,” he said.

He expressed his deep admiration for the people of Benin and his desire to contribute positively to the youth in his community.

“I truly admire my people with all my heart, and I want nothing but the best for the youth of the community.”

The singer further shared his belief in the potential of the youth and his vision for their success.

“I believe in them truly, and I want nothing for a brighter future filled with lots of opportunities for them all.”

Kelly Anthony also assured that his foundation, the Kelly Anthony Foundation, will take full responsibility for the first-year expenses of the five selected students at UNIBEN.

The musician highlighted the significance of youth empowerment and why it matters to him.

“As an artist, this means the world to me. Giving the youth a chance to a better future means a lot to me. I believe in the youths of Nigeria,” he said.

He further explained his confidence in the youth and the importance of guidance in ensuring their success.

“I know with full guidance and support for them they will succeed, and that is what I stand for.”

Kelly Anthony was born on May 5, 1989, in Benin City, Edo State, to Gabriel and Kate Osifo. He attended Nightygate Primary School and UNIBEN Staff School.
