Steps to Check 2024 WASSCE Results for Private Candidates

The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, has announced the release of the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, results for Private Candidates Second Series.

The Acting Head of Public Affairs, Moyosola Adesina, disclosed this information in a statement on Sunday.

Significantly, a total of 43,923 candidates, making up 67.55% of those who took the exam, obtained credit and above in at least five subjects.

Adesina mentioned that out of the 65,023 candidates who sat for the examination, the results show a positive trend, with 34,878 candidates (53.64%) securing credit and above in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

For students intending to check their results, the following steps should be followed:

• Go to the official WAEC results checker website: WAEC result checker. (www.waecdirect.org)

• Input your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number in the required field.

• Enter the four digits of your Examination Year, for example, 2024.

• Choose the Type of Examination [Private Candidate Results].

• Input the e-PIN Voucher Number.

• Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) from your e-PIN.

• Click Submit and wait for the results page to display.
