The Borno State Police Command has confirmed the death of Prof. Ruth Wazis, former Head of the Department of Business Management at the University of Maiduguri, who died in an accident at home. Yusuf Lawal, the Commissioner of Police, confirmed the incidence in an interview with the News Agency
