Thailand University Announces Fully Funded International Internship for 2025
Prince of Songkla University (PSU) in Thailand has introduced a fully funded international internship program lasting six weeks for the year 2025.
This opportunity is available to students from around the world, and there is no application fee required to apply.
As reported by Opportunities Corners, participants will have the chance to work with mentors across different research fields, with the internship dates being flexible and mutually agreed upon by the intern and the hosting department.
Significantly, there is no IELTS score requirement for this program.

Eligibility Criteria
The program is open to all international students who fulfill the following conditions:
Currently enrolled at a recognized university outside Thailand
Must be an undergraduate or graduate student
Should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale up to the final semester before the application deadline
Must demonstrate strong English language proficiency
Required to submit a confirmation letter from their home university

A copy of their academic transcript
Curriculum Vitae along with relevant work samples
A copy of the passport page containing their photograph
English proficiency test results (if they are not native English speakers)
A detailed internship plan
A confirmation letter from their home university
An acceptance letter from the faculty or organization at Prince of Songkla University

Contact the Faculty/Department: Get in touch with the appropriate faculty or department at PSU to obtain an internship acceptance letter.
Complete the Scholarship Application: Once the acceptance letter is received, fill out the scholarship application form provided by PSU.
The Education and Innovative Learning Academy (EILA) will assess and validate the eligibility of all candidates. If the number of applicants does not exceed 30, scholarship recipients will be announced within two weeks after the deadline. Notifications will be sent via email, and the host faculty will also be informed.
The interview process is scheduled for April 2025, with further details being shared with eligible candidates ahead of time.
Additionally, the university offers scholarship opportunities for students following the completion of their internship.
Scholarship Conditions
Recipients of the scholarship must complete their internship at Prince of Songkla University or at an organization assigned by the respective faculty or department at PSU for a minimum duration of six weeks.
If a recipient is unable to fulfill the entire internship period, they must return the full scholarship amount. However, in cases of unavoidable circumstances such as sudden illness, natural disasters, accidents, political instability, or pandemics, the host faculty/department must formally notify the Education and Innovative Learning Academy (EILA) about the situation.
The university will then assess the circumstances and decide whether to reclaim the funds. Additionally, recipients must submit a Student’s Internship Report to EILA within 30 days after completing the internship.
