Three UMYU students die in a motor accident after exams
Three students of the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) have been confirmed dead after the vehicle they boarded home after concluding their examinations was involved in a ghastly accident.
The accident involving a commercial bus reportedly happened along Katsina–Dutsin-ma highway on Tuesday evening, April 20.

The deceased students were identified as Hamza Lawal – Edu Math ( 200L); Salisu Garba – Edu Geography (200L); and Hamza Hamza – Edu Geography ( 200L).
The Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the SUG President, Umar Ahmad, who confirmed the report in a statement today, Wednesday, April 21, said two other students were injured in the accident.
The injured students were identified as Halilu Ibrahim – Edu. Physics (200L) and Abdulbasir Aminu – Edu. Geography ( 200L).
