Tinubu’s government will enhance the standard of education
According to Chief Bassey Esin, a member of the Governing Council at Federal University in Kashere, Gombe State, President Bola Tinubu’s administration improve education standards in the country.
Esin added that the launch of the student loan plan, a core policy of the President’s admittance under the Renewed Hope Agenda, demonstrated Tinubu’s special interest in education.
He did, however, urge Nigerians to cooperate with the Federal Government to provide quality education to Nigerians.
He gave an interview after the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, inaugurated the Governing Councils last week.
Esin stated that the administration established student loans to ensure that as many young persons as possible have access to education.
He believes everyone should work together to guarantee that universities maintain strong educational standards.
He praised the President for assigning him to the university’s governing board, promising to contribute his quota to the advancement of education in Nigeria.
He also promised to apply his experience to the growth and development of the Federal University of Kashere Gombe.
“The focus of this administration is to ensure that our students complete their programmes on time. Four years should be four years, if you are doing a four years programme,” he added.
