The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has announced the commencement of its post-UTME/Direct Entry screening process for the 2024/2025 academic session. Candidates who have not yet completed their registration are encouraged to do so before the deadline.
Key Dates and Deadlines
The online Post-UTME screening will begin on Thursday, 19th September 2024, and close on Saturday, 26th October 2024. Candidates who fail to register during this period will not be eligible for admission into UNIABUJA for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Eligibility Criteria for UTME and Direct Entry Applicants
To apply for the UNIABUJA Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- UTME applicants must have a UTME score of 180 or above.
- A minimum of five O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English, is required, obtained in no more than two sittings.
- O’Level results must be uploaded to the JAMB portal.
- Direct Entry applicants must possess an NCE, IJMB, ND, First Degree, or HND. Those with JUPEB or NABTEB ‘A’ Level qualifications do not need to apply.
- All Direct Entry applicants must upload and verify their A-level results on the JAMB portal.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old by November 2024.
- Ensure that your UTME subject combination aligns with the course requirements for your chosen program at UNIABUJA.
- Candidates awaiting results are not eligible to apply for the Post-UTME.
Application Process for UNIABUJA Post-UTME/Direct Entry
To apply, follow these steps:
- Visit the UNIABUJA Post-UTME Portal and click on “click here to apply.”
- Select undergraduate from the left panel.
- Enter your JAMB registration number and click on “get details.”
- Complete the basic information page using a valid phone number and email, then click “next.”
- Pay the screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2000).
- On the payment review page, click on Generate RRR to proceed.
- You will be redirected to the Remita payment page, where you can enter your credit or debit card details and submit the payment.
- Enter the OTP code sent to your phone to complete the transaction.
- After payment, log in using your JAMB registration number as the username and your surname as the password.
- Complete your registration and print both the registration form and the payment receipt.
